Nina Munteanu Nina lives with her family in Vancouver, British Columbia. “Darwin's Paradox” is her third novel.

“I always carry a pad and paper with me to record my crazy ideas. Sometimes they come in dreams. What I do know is that my writing is morish…as in the more I write the more I want to write. It feeds on itself, like an ouroboros, constantly devouring up ideas and spewing forth new ones in a constant renewal, birth, death and renewal. I have an active imagination. When I was little, my sister and I concocted a whole universe of characters who traveled the universe—long before Star Trek came around—and we kept ourselves up until late at night with wild stories of space adventure.” — Nina Munteanu

Nina Munteanu was born in Granby, Quebec, Canada. She received her Masters of Science Degree in Limnology at Corcordia University prior to moving to the west coast of British Columbia to teach at the University of Victoria and work as an environmental consultant in Vancouver, B.C.

Nina balances her work as a scientist and educator with her fiction and non-fiction writing. She is a member of SF Canada and served briefly as assistant editor-in-chief of Imagikon, a Romanian e-zine. Her short stories have been published in North America and translated and reprinted abroad.

She lives with her family in Vancouver, British Columbia. “Darwin's Paradox” is her third novel.
